Mango Lagoon Resort in Cairns exceeded expectations! The location was superb, offering convenience and easy access to attractions. The property itself was well-maintained, and the pool area was a highlight—perfect for relaxation. The ambience was delightful, creating a serene atmosphere. The check-in process was smooth, and the cleanliness of the resort was commendable. Considering the quality and amenities, the costs were reasonable. A fantastic stay overall!

Loved my stay at the resort! I would definitely come back to stay there. The one-bedroom self contained apartments are lovely and clean, open and good size. I didn't love the shower head but that was minor. The resort is a short walk away from the esplanade, and I liked that it was away from the hustle and bustle of the esplanade but not far away from it. They have 3 pools which is great, and they have the best view looking up to the mountains while you swim. I also went for a massage which was so relaxing, and I only booked 2hrs beforehand! The staff are so lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Cairns.

Needed last minute emergency accommodation!! I cannot thank The manager enough for his dedicated hard work. In speaking with Matthew he was off shift on his way to further his study. He went above and beyond in words I can’t explain for me and my family. {took his time in making sure our needs were met} He is a very valuable employee to Mango lagoon. It was amazing experience. My sister's wedding was so well organised. Family and guests were so happy and enjoyed every moment. Staff service was amazing and everyone was so co-operative and helpful. From food service to decoration was organised well. The manager was very helpful, knowledgeable and make sure their was no complain. THE BIGGEST COMPLAIN IS WE DONT HAVE ANY COMPLAIN.

We stayed at mango lagoon resort for 5 nights and loved our stay! All 4 pools were unique we enjoyed 2 full days pool hopping, and reading under palm trees. The pools are connected via little creek like streams, and when walking around the resort can hear a background noise of running water that is extremely relaxing! The gardens where kept immaculate. We stayed in a one bedroom self contained apartment room, the room was large and clean. Our room also included a full kitchen, we where able to cook some meals that saved us a lot of money and could therefore spend it on more activities such as river tubing, green islands tour, and massages. The location of the resort is a short walk to the beach, shops, pubs and restaurants. There is also a bus stop that is conveniently out the front of the resort, we took the 110 bus a few stops to Coles supermarket, and a $4.50 bus trip into cairns a couple of times. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, we ran out of sunscreen one day and the lady at reception let us use theirs. Also, a special shout out to Steven who kept the gardens and pools tidy, he gave us heaps of recommendations that we tried and loved his suggestions about green island, cairns night market and music playlists. We have already recommended mango lagoon resort to friends and family for their next holiday! 5 stars rating from us, we can’t find anything to fault. Thank you for the much needed holiday!
